Jonathan Hanover graduated from Ohio University with degrees in Management and Strategic Leadership, and Accounting.  After graduating, he spent approximately five years in the financial services industry, working for both Lincoln Financial Advisors and Fidelity Investments.

In July 2008, Jonathan began to lead The Ride at Milford First United Methodist Church in Milford, Ohio.  The Ride is an alternative/emerging worship service aimed at youth and young adults.  In September 2009, Jonathan began the Master of Divinity program at United Theological Seminary in Trotwood, Ohio.  He is currently in his second semester at United.

As of November 2009, Jonathan was appointed pastor to Richland-Crumley United Methodist Church, a small, rural church just outside Xenia, Ohio.

Jonathan has great passion for worship stemming from his time as a worship leader.  He also has great passion for leadership in the church.

Jonathan is married to Megan.  Megan has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and rehabilitation services from Wright State University and is completing her master’s in rehabilitation counseling from the University of Arkansas-Little Rock.  She currently works with people with developmental disabilities.

Jonathan and Megan are both very excited to come to Sugar Grove!
